| The following is Summit Divers and Watersports terms and conditions regarding
dive trips:
Deposits/Payments:
A minimum of $ 300.00 per person non-refundable deposit is required upon
booking. Payment in full is due sixty (60) days prior to departure.
Deposit amount may vary due to individual resort requirements, and boat or
supplier policies. Please check at time of booking to confirm deposit
amounts.
Documentation:
U.S. citizens must have a valid passport for ALL travel
outside of the country, except when DRIVING to and from Mexico
(until January 1, 2008). Proof of citizenship in some form is required for
travel to Mexico. Minors leaving the U.S. must have
written, notarized permission to travel from the parent(s)/legal guardian(s) not
traveling.
Late Bookings:
Bookings made forty-five (45) days or less prior to departure will incur a $
40.00 charge per booking to cover express-mail services, tele-fax services,
telex or long-distance phone calls. Airline fares may also be higher when
booking less that forty-five (45) days in advance.
Cancellations:
Cancellation received ninety (90) days or less prior to departure will only
be refunded (minus deposit) if a replacement for that space can be found.
Refunds:
No refund or transfer of any unused portion of travel package is permitted,
provided the listed services were available, in the event listed services were
not available, Summit Divers will make every effort to obtain compensation for
the client from the suppliers. Summit Divers cannot be liable for services
omitted by suppliers. Travel insurance
is recommended.
Responsibility and Liability:
Summit Divers and Watersports and its agents act only for the client in
arranging hotel, transportation, and other services related to travel and travel
packages. Summit Divers is not liable for any injury, death, loss, damage,
accident, delay, inconvenience, additional expense or mental or physical
distress in the event of expense caused by illness, wars, act of terrorism,
strikes, mechanical failures, pilferage, weather or acts of God. In the
event it becomes necessary or advisable to alter arrangements or itinerary,
Summit Divers may do so without penalty. Summit Divers reserves the right
to withdraw any or all tours when conditions warrant. Clients electing to
use equipment such as wakeboards, kneeboards, canoes, sailboats, scuba or the
like do so at their own risk. Airlines used in connection with any travel
package may not be held responsible for an act, omission, or event during the
time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. The passage
contract in use by the carrier, which issuance shall constitute a contract
between said carrier and passenger, sets out the carriers sole
responsibilities. Schedules and prices are subject to change without
notice. The payment of a required deposit or any partial or full payment
for reservation of a trip shall constitute consent to all provisions of the
terms and conditions list.
