The SSI Open Water Diver is an entry-level course, where you will learn the necessary skills to enable you to become a safe, comfortable and responsible diver. This course is taught over five weeks with one class per week. You will become familiar with the equipment that you will be utilizing, the environment you will be exploring and the procedures that you need to practice to be a safe diver. Summit Divers & Watersports invites you to join us at the Flagstaff Athletic Club.

Text and video materials cost $79.95 and
require home study prior to class.
The academic and pool portion runs
$190.00 and encompasses at least sixteen
hours of instruction both in and out of the
water.
Final Open Water Certification is provided
at Lake Mohave, AZ for $190.00
Certification trips are also available to
San Carlos, Mexico and Catalina
Island, CA.
Students must provide their own mask, fins
and snorkel.
Rental gear is available.
